about

MY LATEST CREATIVE PROJECT: I was inspired to write this song and create this video out of the affinity I feel towards the water protectors at Standing Rock -- especially how the situation there represents our choice to come together, take a stand for what we believe in, and allow our hearts to guide us.

It is my daily prayer to see more and more people come together to support the growing movement towards Solidarity and Unity and a truly sustainable, compassionate way of living in harmony with all life on Earth.
If this strikes a chord, you will LOVE this video! Listen and SHARE. ☺

50% of the proceeds from the sale of this song will be donated to the peaceful water protectors at Standing Rock

lyrics

Listen to the drum
Soon a change will come
Calling all the Souls across the earth
We are all one tribe
No barricades divide
Can you feel One Nation rising

I'll be by your side
We are strong
We’ll carry on
Too long our eyes have cried
We’ll stand our ground
We won't back down tonight

Something’s breaking free
Learn from Wounded Knee
So we will see the children thrive on the earth
Open hearts and hands
Protect our sacred lands
Can you see the people standing

I'll be by your side
We are strong
We’ll carry on
Too long our eyes have cried
We’ll stand our ground
We won't back down tonight

Great spirit give us courage
When will we wake to see our planet flourish

Nations cities tribes
All our rights denied
While protecting water for the earth
Still so hypnotized
When will you realize
That life cannot go on without it

I'll be by your side
We are strong
We we’ll carry on
Too long our eyes have cried
We’ll stand our ground
We won't back down

Cause Spirit’s on our side
Standing strong
We’ll take them on
With our hearts open wide
Kneeling down on sacred ground

I will be by your side
We are strong
We’ll carry on
Too long our eyes have cried
We’ll stand our ground

We won’t back down tonight
